The website was originally developed in April 1999 as a site to sell transport photographs taken around the world. In the ten years since, WTP has regularly contributed images to several transport policy publications, including Surveyor, Parking Review, Town and Country Planning, Janes Urban Transport, Traffic Engineering and Control, and Transit, as well as LTT, as well as to local authorities, universities, consultants and private individuals.
Currently, some 5,000 images are available for sale electronically, and a further 12,000 or so can be scanned from 35mm colour negatives.
Specific enquiries regarding images should be made to Dr Enoch which should provide as much detail as possible about the desired image. Payment rates vary and are dependent on organisation, size and usage.
Viewing and buying images
There are two ways to purchase images for single use at www.WorldTransportPictures.net. (Please see the Terms and Conditions for full details.)
Option 1: Purchase Individual Images (£20 ea)
To buy images individually, use the links in the menu on the left under the heading "View and buy images". The cost of each images is £20 and the site will accept payment via PayPal.
Option 2: Annual Subscription (£300 pa)
To secure access to the whole library of images on an annual basis, click on the "Member register / login" link in the menu on the left. This will allow you to create an account, the cost of which is £300 per annum and is also payable through PayPal.
